About W. Eric Croomes

Personal Mission Statement:
I was created to prosper and succeed; to reveal my talent to the world; to serve humanity; to seek peace, justice and dignity for every person and to live as an expression of God's infinite truth, wisdom and beauty.

W. Eric Croomes is a writer based in Irving, Texas and a native of Phoenix, Arizona. Eric is a 1990 graduate of Jarvis Christian College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Sociology and has studied theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

In 2002, Eric self-published Dance in the Dark, Poetic Reflections on Love and Culture, a collection of his original poems and essays on love and relationship in the African-American tradition. Dance in the Dark became a local best-seller. In February 2004, Three to Eight, stage-play written by W. Eric Croomes, was produced at the BlackenBlues Theater annual play festival.

Brotha2Brotha - Becoming Healthy Men From the Inside Out!, a spiritual primer for men of color, is Eric's second book.
